Prologue:

At Destiny Islands, Kairi came up to Sora and Riku with a message in a bottle.

Sora: Hey, what's up?

Kairi: Look.

She showed it to both Riku and Sora, who were both sitting/leaning on a paopu fruit tree. They then saw a letter with a familiar symbol on it.

Sora: (confused) From the King?

He took out it from her, then took out the message from inside the bottle, then the trio read it carefully.

"Dear Sora,

I know you don't recognize my handwriting, but I am writing for King Mickey. Listen, I've been hearing rumors about someone plotting to ressurect the Toon that almost destroyed our home, Toonatopia named Judge Doom.
I have a feeling someone or something is behind it. I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but I can only say that it's not good. I don't mind his henchmen coming back to life, it's the judge I'm more worried about.
Please, Keyblade Master, you must come. Our world is going to be in danger if he's ressurrected. You must stop the ones ressurrecting them at once. Bring help if you can. We're all counting on you.

P.S. As for your other friends, Donald and Goofy. They miss you too. Don't worry, I'm sure they'll be glad to see you again.
