Sonic Underground Remake Omake 5: How We Met

At Gruntilda's Lair, the three robots cleaned a few black sooted spots as they frowned.

Coconuts: I can't believe it! That Bat Squirrel tricked us!

Scratch: Tell me about it.

Grounder: Reminds me of the time we first met Gruntilda. I remember like it was yesterday.

Scratch: Oh brother, here we go.

Grounder: It all started when Dr. Robotnik ordered us to find some new allies...

(Flashback)

Somewhere near the lair, Scratch, Grounder, and Coconuts, looking beaten, looked around the place.

Scratch: Great, trusting a green hedgehog in punk clothing was the stupidest idea ever!

Grounder: Hey, at least we got to this strange place the mammoth with him suggested.

Coconuts: (frowns) No thanks to you two. I don't know why they call this place the Isle O' Hags.

The rain poured down hard as the three frowned. Scratch only coughed a bit before knocking on the door. Just then, a green creature in a labcoat came to them.

Grounder: AHHH! Monster attack! Kill it!

He took out his weapons from his compartment, preparing to fire before the green creature hit him.

Creature: Hey, Klungo no like being attacked!

Coconuts: Oy...dumb bots.

Klungo: What freaky metal things doing here like other metal thing Klungo found?

Voice: Klungo, what is going on there? Can't you see I'm busy in here?

Scratch: Let me handle this.

He cleared his throat before looking at him.

Scratch: We represent comrades to the great and mighty ruler of Robotropolis. We are here to ask if you are needing any assistance with any evil deeds and what nots.

Then, they noticed the witch coming out, looking annoyed.

Grounder: AHHHH! Monster!

She groaned in annoyance, zapping Grounder and making the robot's gun disintegrate.

Gruntilda: What do you want or even see? I'm the witch who's really busy!

Coconuts: Oy...listen, I don't think it was a good idea. Maybe Dr. Robotnik-

Gruntilda: Huh? What was that you said? You were sent by Robotnik, my friend?

Scratch: No duh! But I guess we might as well leave-

She only snapped her finger before Klungo grabbed them.

Gruntilda: You three will prove useful to me. I shall help conquer the land, you'll see. Ha-ha-ha-ha!

The three were dragged in as Coconuts looked annoyed.

Coconuts: Her rhyming's getting annoying.

(End Flashback)

Grounder only sighed as he looked at the green emerald near the cauldron.

Grounder: And we still have only one measley emerald.

Coconuts: She mentioned something about getting more beauty with more emeralds, right?

Scratch: Sometimes...I don't think I would want to know.

The emerald glowed slightly while a few sparks went to the metallic object, who's hand was only shown. Unknown to any of them, the hand twitched before clenching its fist.
