As a storm was starting outside, inside, Sonic frowned to his friends while Mighty sighed.

Sonic: No way!

Kazooie: Very much way, Sonic. I'm telling you, Sonic. She's in that mirror.

Sonic: What's up with the mirror?

Mighty: It's a portal to different places, but Queen Aleena told me that it was very difficult to find your way around. Usually, my chao would back me up.

Hooter smiled a little.

Knuckles: What!? You met Aleena?

Mighty: Of course I met her...she was the very person who got me out of sudden death. Plus, she gave me this chao to raise carefully. Uh, we'll talk about her another time, what about Amy?

Sonic looked at a watch under his glove before frowning.

Sonic: Those dumb bots will be here in 30 minutes. If I'm not back before then, give a yell.

Sonic quickly dashed in while Knuckles sighed.

Knuckles: Trust me, he's always like that.

Banjo: Hey, wait for me and Kazooie!

Kazooie: Finally, adventure time!

The trio jumped in as well. Inside the strange world, the four looked around while Sonic shouted.

Sonic: Amy, where are you?

They only heard noises before finally, a familiar pink hedgehog ran up to them.

Amy: Sonic! Banjo! Kazooie! Knuckles!

Knuckles: Are you okay?

Amy: I'm fine, I thought I saw your mom or Batula, Sonic. Then, I followed her in here, but I'm afraid that the person disappeared again. (sighs) Guys, I'm afraid I'm lost.

Banjo: Hey, it's no problem, Amy.

Kazooie: And besides, the only time you're ever lost is when you lose at poker.

Banjo: Kazooie!

Sonic: Come on, hop on.

Amy: Uh, you guys know the way out of the mirror?

Sonic: (smirks) Trust me.

Knuckles: You absolutely sure?

Sonic: Is Robuttnik round? (pointing) The exit's that way.

The four quickly held onto Sonic as Sonic began speeding.

Sonic: Hold onto your lunch, guys, we're outta here!

They dashed to where Sonic pointed before heading to the area. However, a purple aura hit the five before they yelped, being sent back to the ground.

Five: Ugh!

They grunted, with Kazooie shaking herself, with her feathers sticking out weirdly.

Banjo: Now what?

Sonic began chuckling nervously to the glaring Amy.

Amy: Ooooh, Sonic! Is Eggman round Mr. "I'm sure of it"?

Knuckles: It won't matter, we're trapped in here.

Banjo: Hmmm, how about we walk slowly until we find the way out?

Kazooie: Boring!

Sonic: Walk? Slowly? Slow goes against my nature.

Knuckles: (frowns) Fine, you speed around and bounce off the walls, the rest of us will walk slow.

They headed off while Sonic looked concerned.

Sonic: Okay, okay, I'll give walking slowly a shot.

Sonic tried walking slowly, though he was starting to speed up a bit. Finally, they stopped near an area.

Kazooie: What?

Then, Amy pointed to the figure about to head through something.

Amy: Wait, it's her! It's really Aleena!

Sonic: I'll get her.

He speeded off after her.

Banjo: Uh, Sonic, wait!

However, he was bounced back by the aura once more.

Amy: Hmph, I believe my point is made.

Some of them looked annoyed as she continued to walk. Outside the mirror, the familiar figure came out before noticing Team Chaotix and the Freedom Fighters sleeping. The queen came up to Rodent, looking seriously at him.

Aleena: I love my children, Rodent. Tell them that, please. One more thing, darling squirrel who helps my children...no, Rodent, the mirror is your way out. Remember: the mirror.

She patted his head before departing. At that moment, crashing was heard before the group awoke.

Antoine: Gah, mein life is a lie!

Some of them looked annoyed.

Dulcy: Sonic! Amy! Knuckles! Banjo and Kazooie!

They hugged the five.

Amy: Did Aleena come through here?

Charmy: (yawns) Who?

Rodent: Aleena?

Bunnie: We didn't see no one else...

Rodent: I felt somewhat touched, though.

Just then, Mighty busted the door down as he panted.

Mighty: Guys...they're here! I need backup!

Just then, they looked outside, noticing a ship with two familiar robots in it arriving along with hovercrafts.

Kazooie: Oh crap.

Outside, the dumb bots got off the ship before the bird robot looked seriously to the Swatbots.

Scratch: All right, when things go well, arrest that stupid armadillo and his family! That idiot was suppose to meet us!

Inside, Mighty looked worried.

Mighty: Oh crap, I can't believe this is happening! Uh, would now be a good time to beg and ask for help?

Espio: Beg, no. Ask for help, maybe.

Sonic: Yeah, chill, dude. I've got a plan. So...how many trap doors are in this joint?

Mighty: Uh, one in every room?

Sonic: Perfecto! Let's do it to it!

Kazooie: Song cue montage time!

The ones with medallions brought out their instruments before they played. As the song played, we see each Freedom Fighter luring the Swatbots toward each room, with the robots being destroyed and Mighty knocking one to a pit.

They seem to have us trapped in the castle,
All: At least that's what the SWATbots thought,
Sonic: It's time to teach them a little lesson,
All: The hedgehogs could never be caught!

As the song was ending, Grounder was sent down a trap door. When it was ending, they high fived one another just as the instruments turned back to medallions.

Kazooie: Way to work that into a montage. Let's see Mario do that.

Later, Grounder, groaning, rolled back to the ship as Scratch frowned.

Scratch: Oh for the love of-(to the intercom) Attention all robots! I want every unit over here ASA-now!

Just then, the flying robotic vehicles flew all around the castle while inside, the group looked concerned.

Espio: This is serious business.

Vector: Well, it's been nice knowing you all. See ya, gotta go down with the ship.

However, the dragon yanked him down.

Dulcy: Get back here, you dope!

Sonic: Eh, it's not that bad.

Kazooie: Yeah, Grunty was a whole lot worse than this.

Just then, the group gasped, noticing missiles heading their way.

Banjo: Get down!

They quickly ducked down before missiles crashed through the window and hit the castle areas. The castle began crumbling as they gasped.

Amy: They're deadly serious!

Sonic: Come on, everyone, hang on and we'll blast right past 'em!

Antoine: (coughing) Non! I doubt we'll make it past all of those fuels!

Just then, Rodent realized something.

Rodent: The mirror...that's it!

He pointed to the mirror, continuing.

Rodent: That's our way out! We have to go in the mirror.

Bunnie: Have you gone loco?

Charmy: He is.

Kazooie: Rodent, if the mirror breaks, we could be trapped in there forever.

Just then, they ducked from the explosion.

Rodent: But Queen Aleena told me in my dream!

Sonic: A dream?! (dryly) Now there's something I can trust!

However, the squirrel with glasses dashed to the mirror, jumping in.

Mighty: Hey, better than here. Come on, guys, we gotta hurry!

Amy: Sonic, we don't have a choice! If we stay here, we're dead.

Sonic: Damn...good point, Amy. Let's do it!

The others quickly headed inside. As they did, the mirror was destroyed by a missile. Inside the strange world, the group looked around.

Banjo: Oh no, the mirror's gone!

Just then, Rodent noticed something, running toward it.

Rodent: Aleena?

Sonic: Wait, Rodent, don't!

However, the squirrel was hit by the barrier, knocking him back to his friends.

Rodent: Ow...

Banjo: You have to go slow over here.

Kazooie: Oh brother.

Just then, a shone was seen as a white light hit it and the group surrounding him.

Knuckles: What's happening?

Dulcy: I can't move!

At that moment, the Chaos Emerald came floating out of Knuckles' bag before it landed on Sonic's palm.

Sonic: I think I now know what to do...everyone hang tight! CHAOS CONTROL!!

Sonic rose the Chaos Emerald as everyone instantly vanished. Near a cliff, everyone instantly reappeared, though collided to the ground.

All: Ugh!

The group got up before hearing an explosion. To their notice, they saw a familiar castle being destroyed.

Sonic: Gotta hand it to you, Rodent, that was one mondo dream.

Rodent: But still...I dreamed she touched me. It felt so real.

Amy: Maybe it was real.

Mighty looked at the destruction, then at the good guys while his chao noticed someone behind the rock.

Mighty: Yeah, I think it was real...

The chao only hushed itself before looking at its friends. Then, the group began to head off together.

Sonic: Sooo...ever consider moving to Knothole?

Mighty: I wish I could, but...my family back in Windy needs me.

Amy: Sorry, Mighty.

Mighty: Hey, I'll manage, don't worry.

At that moment, Kazooie realized something.

Kazooie: Uh, how the hell are we gonna get back anyway? Our van was left at the castle and it's practically destroyed by now.

At that moment, something from the ground came out before it showed a giant vehicle. To their notice, Cream came out as she looked worried.

Cream: Everyone, Mr. Bartleby is being trialed...and Manic and Mina are going to a trap!

Others: What!?

Sonic: Cream, explain on the way while we go rescue them.

She nodded before the group headed in.

Amy: We can drop you by the airport as soon as we rescue them, okay?

Mighty: Right.

Then, it closed. When it went down to the ground, a familiar queen wearing her cloaked garb only watched in sadness before a tear came out of her eye.
