Sonic Underground Remake Ep 14: The Price of Freedom

At the mountains, a familiar blue hedgehog was running quickly while Manic with Bunnie, Cream, and Cheese on an airboard followed him. Then, Sonia, wearing a different outfit along with Mina (also in a different outfit) followed via motorcycle. As they continued, a familiar ship with two familiar hunters was trying to hit the group. Dingo continuously tried shooting Sonia and Mina in the motorcycle as the hedgehog and mongoose dodged.

Aleena: (narrating) Freedom is a precious thing. I should know. I'm Queen Aleena, and I'm always on the run.

Sonia and Mina stopped for a moment, only to head to another direction where a tree was.

Aleena: (narrating) But with all the running, sometimes you lose sight of your goal - forget the gift that freedom really is.

Then, the tree trunk was shot before it landed near the two's path.

Mina: Oh crud!

Sonia: Think some ol' log's gonna ruffle my spines? Ha-ha-ha!

She powered up the motorcycle before the two jumped over. They landed near the puddle, splashing the two all over before they stopped.

Sonia: AUGH! My brand new Guccini!

Mina: My dress!

The two angrily glared to the ship following.

Sonia: Now you're really gonna see road rage.

The ship fired continuously as the two prepared themselves. All of a sudden, they were blasted off the road.

Both: Whoa!

They landed on the tree, though their skirts got caught on the branches.

Sonia: (glares) Oh man! Now I'm really steamed!

Mina: You're not the only one pissed off!!

Dingo: (mockingly) Ha-ha-ha! And we're really scared!

Quickly, Sonia brought out her medallion, changing it to a keyboard before she aimed to them.

Sonia: Call 911, shitheads...it's your only hope!

Sonia fired at the ship, creating a huge fog, making the two foes look lost.

Sleet: The road went left, right?

Dingo: Right.

Sleet: (confused) Right? You sure?

Dingo: Left? Right.

Sleet: Oh, left then right.

Dingo: (yelps) NO! LEFT! LEFT!

Just then, they realized too late as they saw a huge cliff.

Both: AAUUUGGH!

They were hit by the cliff and the two hunters fell down toward the river in the area, splashing in the water before they came up, coughing.

Dingo: You're worse at directions than Scourge.

Sleet: Oh, shut up, Dingo!

Then, Sonic, Manic, Bunnie, Cream, and Cheese came near the cliff while they grinned.

Manic: Alright! Sonia aced'em good.

Sonic: Sure did.

Cream: (looks around) So where is she anyway? Sonia?! Mina!

Mina's Voice: Back here!

The group looked, noticing a pissed hedgehog and mongoose in ruined clothing.

Sonia: Would you hurry, please?!

Sonic: Hurry? That's for slo-mos.

Sonia looked back, reaching for the branch.

Sonia: (struggles) It's just one tear...maybe I can get it...

Just then, the two skirts were torn as they both fell.

Both: AHHHH!

Quickly, Sonic caught the two. He placed them down while the pink hedgehog and mongoose looked at their ruined clothes.

Mina: (teary) My beautiful dress! And I just got it!

Sonia: MY GUCCINI!!! This is tragic...

The others came to her as Manic spoke.

Manic: Totally smooth remove of the mange mutts, sis.

Sonic: Yeah! Couldn't have done better myself.

Bunnie: So where's your bike?

The group noticed the bike on the ground.

Manic: Whoa, major road wear. Maybe even worse than you.

Sonia: (anger mark) Can it, Manic. Just get it rolling, okay?

Mina: It's times like this I wish we didn't leave the van so Rotor and Cyrus can repair it.

A bit later, Manic was almost done fixing the bike.

Manic: Actually, it's not too funky. Just a couple of tweaks and...

All of a sudden, some brake fluid came out, splashing the mad pink hedgehog. That did it for the angry Sonia.

Sonia: (Anime glares) THAT'S IT!!! That's it, I've HAD IT! I need a facial, I need a pedicure, and most of all, (gets on the bike) I need massage.

Manic: Like, didn't you just have a brake fluid facial?

Sonic and Manic laughed hysterically before they were given a glare by the girls. They winced a bit while Sonia continued.

Sonia: I've had it with the mud and the grit and the oil, but most of all, I've had it with all of you, especially you, Mina!

Mina: (shocked) What!? Driving on a motorcycle was your idea!

Manic: Ah, chill, Sonia! Don't be such an S.A.P.

Sonia: Meaning?

Sonic: Spoilt, Annoying, Princess!

She powered up her motorcycle, glancing at everyone.

Sonia: But I am a princess, and it's about time I got treated like one.

She powered up her motorcycle, then completely drove off, heading off.

Sonia: I'm going to Mindy LaTour's place in East Mobius somewhere a few miles from a place called Spiral Mountain for a break. And if you have anything to say to me, DON'T!

When she was gone, Sonic began pondering.

Sonic: East Mobius...that sounds familiar.

Just then, the blue hedgehog realized, slapping his forehead.

Sonic: Wait a nano-sec.

He then took out a piece of paper from his sock, looking at it.

Sonic: I got this weird message, something about Mom being in East Mobius. (looks back) Sonia!

Manic: Mom? Awesome! So what's the roadblock that's keeping us from going to find her?

Sonic: (smirks) Absolutely nothing, Manic man. While Sonia's off doin' her princess thing, we'll find Mom. See'ya there.

They nodded while Sonic dashed off with the others following.

Cream: Can we ask the people from this Spiral Mountain to come and help us?

Bunnie: Who knows...

Later, at a mansion, a huge castle was shown as a familiar hedgehog (now in her normal clothes) rang the doorbell. Then, an animal came out, noticing her before she grinned.

Girl: Sonia!

Sonia: Mindy!

Both: Girlfriend!

The two exchanged hugs and quasi-kisses, grinning to one another before they headed inside.

Mindy (Girl): Did anyone see you?

Sonia: No, why?

Just then, the two noticed a bearded figure coming downstairs as he spoke.

Man: You're a fugitive, Sonia. As glad as we are to see you, you must understand - we have to be careful.

Sonia: (laughs) You mean Eggman, Mr. LaTour? That eggcup?

The two looked concern while Sonia continued with a smile on her face.

Sonia: Relax girlfriend, I just dropped by for some M&M, and then I'll be on my way.

LaTour (Man): (confused) M&M?

Girls: Massage and Manicure.

Mindy: Oh Daddy, please please please can she stay?

Sonia looked at him with a grin with Mindy having pleading eyes.

LaTour: (sighs) Just stay out of trouble, okay?

The two jumped and laughed.

Both: Yay!

They then headed off, leaving the concerned adult alone.

Voice: So this girl's a fugitive, huh, Mr. LaTour?

LaTour: Please, having two others watching on me is bad enough. I don't need you causing any trouble, Scourge.

Then, out of the shadows came a smiling green hedgehog which looked like Sonic, though green with blue eyes with a scar, jacket, sunglasses, and boots, smirking.

Scourge: Don't worry, they won't even know what hit them...not Eggman, not Don Weazo's men, and not those foolish Sonic Heroes...he-he-he.

Back with Sonia, she was wearing a red scarf, looking at the mirror while Mindy rolled her eyes.

Mindy: But Sonia, scarves are so ten minutes ago!

Sonia: (looks at the scarf)...it reminds me of Mother...

She realized before she looked down.

Mindy: I'm sorry...I know you must miss her.

She hugged the scarf as a tear came from her eye, though she wiped it off.

Sonia: I'll find her...someday.

She then looked back at the mirror.

Sonia: It still needs something.

She then noticed Mindy's watch, looking at it with awe.

Sonia: Where did you get this? This is so it.

Mindy: (smiles) Really? I designed it myself. Daddy's factory makes them.

Sonia: (concerned) But...no offense...your Dad never does anything. He doesn't need to.

Mindy: Now he does. Robotnik takes so much in taxes from our estate, Daddy says he had to open the factory just to keep me in polkadots. But hey, they're the hottest seller in 21st Century Mobius.

She then removed the watch, giving it to Sonia.

Mindy: Here, it's yours!

She placed it on her wrist.

Sonia: It's the coolest. Thanks.

She looked back at the mirror, looking concerned.

(Dream Sequence)

That night, in the dream, Sonia wearing the scarf, finished singing with Sonic, Manic, and Mina helping her perform. Just then, she noticed some Swatbots approaching.

Sonia: AHHHH!!

The group ran before Sonia jumped down, realizing she was falling into the hands of the green hedgehog, laughing wickedly: Scourge.

Sonia: GAH! W-W-Who are you and why do you look like Sonic!?

Scourge: He-he. Your worse nightmare!

He laughed continuously while Sonia struggled to free herself. She finally got off of him, though Scourge kept holding her tightly, trying to keep her in place while she ran. Then, a familiar scarf came and grabbed Scourge, trapping him.

Scourge: Shit! No fair!

Then, the scarf removed itself, making Scourge spin around before he screamed, colliding with some items.

Scourge: (groans) Not my day...

Sonia: Huh?

She then turned to a direction, looking at a familiar figure.

Sonia: Mother?

She then noticed the figure motioning her to follow before leaving.

Sonia: Mother, wait!

Quickly, she went after it. Just then, when she got close to the figure, which looked like a darker Aleena glaring evilly and laughing cruelly, the figure morphed into a familiar foe laughing evilly.

Sonia: NOOOOOO!!!

(End Dream Sequence)

Sonia, in bed, gasped and awoke.

Sonia: Who was that guy? And what does this nightmare mean...?

She was sitting up before she heard a noise.

Sonia: Mother?

She got out of the bed in her night dress, taking a peek. She gasped, noticing a machine peeking into the suitcase and taking pictures of plans. She grabbed it, glaring at it.

Sonia: Back off, buddy. Even my brothers don't get to look at my little black book.

Just then, the robot transformed back into a familiar watch.

Sonia: (smirks) Well well well. Very creative design, Mindy...

Later, as Sonia headed to the bedroom, she heard a tapping noise. She turned noticing a bird flying inside a backpack with a bear attached to the bag tapping the door.

Sonia: Huh?

She opened the window before the two came in.

Sonia: I guess you're those two guys from that Spiral Mountain place.

Bird: Damn right we are!

Bear: Kazooie! Uh, sorry, miss. My name's Banjo and this bird in the bag that helped me fly here is Kazooie.

Sonia: My name's Sonia. What are you guys doing here anyway?

He then showed a familiar device, the same type Sonia had.

Banjo (Bear): We came here because we bought a watch from this place and all of a sudden, it turned into this robot and, well...

Kazooie (Bird): (glares) It tried stealing snapshots of the blueprints of my upcoming room! I oughta give the creator a piece of my mind!

Sonia: Well...perhaps we can examine the device.

Kazooie: Good idea, because I want my room to be built unless those idiots steal my idea.

Banjo: (sighs) Kazooie...

A bit later, the watches were taken apart as Sonia was talking on the cell phone with the bear and bird examining the devices.

Sonia: It's some kind of surveillance device. It was sending info to Robotnik's Intelligence Agency.

Outside the mansion, Sonic with Bunnie, talking on another cell phone, were sneaking around in the forest.

Sonic: So, sis. Doin' a little moonlighting between mall trawls?

Inside, Kazooie groaned as Sonia spoke.

Sonia: Can the comedy, Sonic. This is serious.

Sonic's Voice: Sure it's still not transmitting?

Kazooie looked at the glowing parts of the watches before she pecked the first one with Sonia using a shoe hell on the other.

Kazooie: Not anymore.

Sonia: I have no idea how much information it got back to those R.I.A bozos!

Back outside, as she continued, Sonic and Bunnie were near the building.

Sonia's Voice: One thing's for sure; they know I'm here. You'd better get here fast.

Banjo's Voice: Mr. Sonic, please hurry. We need to get home to my sister before she gets very worried about us.

Sonic: Oh, we just happened to be in the neighborhood.

Bunnie: Meet us outside the watch factory right behind LaTour's estate.

Sonia's Voice: (shocked) You're already here? Why?

Sonic: No time, sis.

Bunnie: We'll explain when you get here.

As the hedgehogs spoke next, the screen split as Sonia spoke with concern and a bit of guilt.

Sonia: Sonic...when I said about being fed up with you guys...I...

Sonic: Yeah, yeah, you were way wrong, I know...so get your pampered butt over here.

Sonia only smiled as she turned off the cell phone with a sad grin.

Kazooie: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get over there and give those bitches a piece of my mind!

They went off as Banjo spoke.

Banjo: Uh, Kazooie, if they have a kid over there, can we lower the cursing a bit?

At the factory, Sonic and Bunnie looked through the window. As they did, a familiar green hedgehog came out with something in his vest with the others running to him.

Mina: Manic, what did I say about stealing?

Manic: Hey, it was calling my name.

Cream, frowning, snatched it away as she looked at it.

Cream: A polo mallet?

Just then, they heard clanging sound. There, they saw a faceless female robot in ninja clothing landing on the ground. She pointed to the group as the same type of watches headed off to the SU.

Cream: HELP!

Quickly, Manic grabbed the mallet as he spoke.

Manic: It's for insect control. But you'll have to get your own.

Bunnie: We don't mind. We'll just have to fight this robot ninja gal as well.

Sonic and Manic began destroying the insect watches while Bunnie and Mina fought the robot ninja. Most of them were destroyed before the group noticed the robot ninja jumping away from them to a group of Swatbots and a giant machine.

Female Robot: There they are, Agent N. Just like I have told.

Agent N: (points to them) Incarcerate them!

The others were hit as Sonic made a run for it. Unfortunately, he too was caught by the strange light. All of a sudden, the group was trapped inside a net.

Female Robot: Aha! Just as your Departed Surveillance Unit Reported.
     
Agent N: Yes, two hedgehogs down, and one to go. The female is in the house with a bear and rare bird. (To the SWATbots) Find them.

With that, the Swatbots headed off, searching for the three in the house, much to the heroes' worry.
