A/N: Takes place before Ep 10. The two Blackjack stories belong to Mitzi.

Castle of Memories Omake 16: Blackjack's Secret

As soon as Azula was gone and a few moments after Blackjack was alone, the former clone went to the crystal ball.

Blackjack: (sighs) I don't understand myself...why can't I get this pain of horror out of my head?

He then looked at the image of Delete running.

Blackjack: Ever since I was first created...I hated you!

(Flashback)

In the first flashback, Blackjack was running from a Cy-Clone clone before he finally outsmarted it.

Blackjack's Voice: I was just one of the clones, trying to escape to live my life.

The next images were of Blackjack frowning with red eyes, smashing the mirror with his fist, and another was himself pouncing on an unexpected victim with a knife.

Blackjack: Gnirb em ecapskcab!

Blackjack's Voice: I thought while talking in mirror language, I could get the droid to come to me.

The next scenes showed him in Buttercup Fields with still images of himself striking Matt, Jackie, and Inez.

Blackjack's Voice: I had to get rid of the pests that were in the way.

The next images were himself stabbing Delete many times.

Blackjack's Voice: And I thought I was rid of that original for good.

The next images then showed himself about to head to where Buzz and Digit were hiding.

Blackjack's Voice: And just when I was about to finish them off...

Just then, he was struck with the Sword Flame as he screamed.

Blackjack's Voice: Delete had killed me!

The next image then showed himself in the dark, alone.

Blackjack's Voice: I thought it was all over...but it wasn't!

The next image showed himself possessing Delete.

Blackjack's Voice: After hearing Delete's wish, I made a proposal to him, then entered his body, becoming him while his soul slept.

The next image showed himself as Delete killing victims with the dagger first, then a sword.

Blackjack's Voice: I knew Delete would never bring himself to kill, with me as an exception, but that didn't mean I couldn't while he slept!

The next images then showed the possessed Delete hurting Matt, Jackie, Inez, and Digit while Buzz was running.

Blackjack's Voice: Then came that day...the final showdown, at least in the body I took.

The next images then showed Buzz and Delete fighting each other until Delete was stabbed and Blackjack left his body, screaming.

Blackjack's Voice: That droid stabbed me and I was without a body once more.

The next images then showed his soul as it screamed in mirror language while the light was disintegrating what was on the ground.

Blackjack's Voice: I thought I would be a wandering soul...forever...at least, until...

The next image then showed Eggman with the Panther King finding the soul.

Eggman: What's this? A soul?

The panther took the soul as he examined it.

Panther King: Hmmm, it would seem that we have found our eighth member of the organization.

The two then disappeared. The next image showed the two with a Dusk as Eggman looked at it.

Eggman: Are you sure we should use that soul to place it in a Dusk?

Panther King: We may have to try. Besides, I have a feeling that we'll also find another soul to place into a Nobody.

The two then placed the soul inside the Dusk. The Dusk didn't move, then it yelped as it shook violently with dark aura.

Eggman: What's happening?

Panther King: (glares) You're the genius! Figure it out!

The two then saw the Dusk glowing until it flashed, nearly blinding the two. They yelped, covering their eyes. When it cleared, they opened them as they looked at what had replaced the Dusk: Blackjack in the cloak he wore.

Blackjack's Voice: As if by miracle or faith, these two had found me and given me a Nobody to merge with. I felt whole once more...except for my hatred on Delete.

The former clone then grinned evilly as he spoke.

Blackjack: The name's Blackjack, you two. Got it memorized?

(End Flashback)

He sighed as he continued to himself.

Blackjack: But at that point, I almost completely forgotten about Delete...at least until I heard that he was heading to the Invisible Hand!

He frowned as he continued.

Blackjack: I learned to weild the chakrams and use the power of fire at that time. And after witnessing Delete get a Nobody...no, Dende...

He chuckled as he laughed heartfully.

Blackjack: Oh, it's very ironic. I hate Delete, but I like Dende! Even so...I don't think even I can bring myself to kill him completely, even when driving him close to death, twice.

He laughed a little more before he grinned a little bit.

Blackjack: Besides, I wasn't the only one to do that...

He then noticed a familiar person watching him.

Blackjack: Right, Nightmare King?

Nightmare King: So you were not the only one who had his soul transferred to a body of a Nobody.

Blackjack: Just be glad I'm not the guy who reveals that we weren't originally Nobodies!

Nightmare King: (nods) I understand. (vanishing) Continue watching him, Blackjack.

He nodded as the creature was gone, then looked back at the image of Delete as he sighed.

Blackjack: Delete...
