(Act 2)

The two sides jumped and attacked one another, though Braniac dodged the droid’s attacks.

Braniac: This is where the fun begins.

Braniac then used some sort of ice spell on the group with everyone yelping with Bubbles’ pigtail being partially frozen.

Bubbles: Oh no! That meanie’s going to get rid of all of us!

Digit groaned a bit before he saw a card pop out of his opened compartment.

Digit: Huh?

He picked it up, showing all the spells, upgrades, and summons needed before he looked at Braniac.

Digit: Yeah...the time has come for that jerk to die! And I hope for everyone’s sake here, that this card works.

The card flipped around until Digit grabbed the card.

(BGM Song: Slash!)

The droid then quickly slashed the card in the card slot, shouting.

Digit: CARD SLASH!

The card slashing was complete as Digit finished up.

Digit: All Powers & Summons Activate!

Then, some familiar figures appeared as the weapons and spells became upgraded.

Braniac: I didn’t think a bird like you could accomplish something so pathetic!

Digit: Hey!

Danny: Everyone, attack!

All of them charged, readying their weapons.

Ichimai no kaado hanatsu hikari ga oh (The light emitted from one card, oh)
Kono monogatari no hajimari tsugeteru oh (Tells of this story's beginning, oh)

Braniac threw the shield toward them, but Shaak Ti and Delete used the Force and sent it flying back to him, hitting the Nobody.

Kimitachi wa sude ni shujinkou nan da alright? (You guys are already the heroes, alright?)
Get up'n fight! aaku wo kazasou (Get up'n fight! Holy up your Arcs)

Yumi: That guy is going down!

The cats dodged the ice attack with Kenshin slashing through it before hitting Braniac.

Kenshin: We will not let you hurt our friends!

Aang: Yeah!

Digit: Looks like he ain’t done yet, guys!

A huge ice blast was heading straight for them.

Delete: Look out!

Everyone dodged it quickly.

Yuuki wo riaraizu shiro (Realize your courage)
Geeji wo fukkiru kurai ni (So much so that blows the gauge)
Evolution suru kimi ga teimaa (When you evolve, you're a Tamer)

Alice: I believe it is time to show him what for.

Nemesis: Way ahead of you!

The blade wielders jumped, slashing Braniac at each side, hitting him. The android Nobody glared at them, tossing his shield toward them, but Ling Ling used her fire spell with Eduardo blocking the shield going near Mac and Bloo.

Slash the life! pawaa wo ageyou (Slash the life! Give them power)
Kaado surasshu! yuujou no tame ni (Card Slash! For friendship)
Slash the life! kimitachi wa nareru sa (Slash the life! You guys can become)
Muteki no paatonaa (Invincible partners)

Eduardo: You is big meanie!

Bloo: Okay, now I’m really ticked off.

Numbah 4: You ain’t the only one, blob.

Braniac flew up into the sky, using his ice powers to the group, but most of them evaded, save for the luckless cy-boid.

Digit: Gah!

Yumi: Digit!

They glared at him before charging and jumping upward, about to hit the evil android. However, Braniac evaded the attack.

Kimi no yume ga moshi makete shimaeba oh (If your dream loses, oh)
Noizu ni kawatte ubawareru dake sa oh (It will just change into noise and be snatched away, oh)

Yumi plucked her guitar, hitting him with the waves while the keyblade masters used their key-like blades to hit him at different sides before Braniac frowned.

Mamoritai kimochi nigirishimetara ready? (If you grasp the desire to protect, ready?)
Get up'n fight! ima sugu ni surotto in! (Get up'n fight! Now slide it through the slot!)

The cats dodged his attack, using all they can against him. Minimus was signaled as he threw his shield toward Braniac, hitting his head.

Namida wo shinjiru real world (Believing in tears in the real world)
Suuchi de kanjiru digital world (Feeling the digital world through numbers)
Futatsu no fiirudo kimi wa hashire (You run through the two Fields)

Digit smirked as he used his card to hit Braniac with Numbah 4’s attack.

Digit: Sweet!

Bubbles quickly used her Sonic Scream, combining with Shaak Ti and Delete’s Force move. The trio gasped before dodging Braniac’s ice blast, avoiding the foe. Yumi hit the villain with her guitar, sending him to the gate before groaning.

Slash the life! yasei ga mezameru (Slash the life! Wild instinct awakens)
Wairudo wan! kakusareta enajii (Wild One! A hidden energy)
Slash the life! kimitachi no mirai wo sono te de tsukame (Slash the life! Take your hand and grab hold of your future)

Digit then used his card once more, shouting.

Digit: CARD SLASH! Ultra Attack Activate!

The group glowed a bit as they all floated briefly in the air, hitting the android at each side. With each hit, Braniac was gaining more and more damage.

Slash the life! pawaa wo ageyou (Slash the life! Give them power)
Kaado surasshu! yuujou no tame ni (Card Slash! For friendship)
Slash the life! kimitachi wa nareru sa (Slash the life! You guys can become)
Muteki no paatonaa (Invincible partners)

Finally, Delete, Grievous, Danny, June, Mac, and Swiper were up on the air before they all tossed their blades, hitting Braniac.

Braniac: They’re...they’re all stronger than expected.

The group landed on the ground just as the summons vanished onto Delete’s wrist, which the bracelet on his right arm transformed to a Summon Bracelet.

Delete: (to himself) So now I have the power to summon them myself, huh?

Then, Braniac fell to his knees and hands. He glanced at the others, groaning a bit weakly.

Braniac: Urgh...Trapped by your memories and yet you still have such power...

Delete: I don't care about that! Turn Buzz back to normal!

Braniac only laughed wickedly as he smirked.

Braniac: Turn him back?

The android got up as he continued.

Braniac: All he can do now is sink into the empty darkness.

(End Slash!)

He wobbled a bit as Wilt spoke.

Wilt: Sorry, do you need help?

Eduardo: But isn't he bad guy?

Bloo: Just kill him already!

Grievous: Wait...we need to know more from this guy...(glares at Braniac) if it's any good.

Braniac: That's just like you, Delete!

Ling Ling: Nani?

Braniac: If you continue to go after both Schala and Imax, you'll be trapped by your memories and lose your heart, including your own knowledge of who you are and just be the Nightmare King's tool!

Delete: Nightmare King? What's he got to do with Schala and Imax?

Just then, a huge fireball passed the droid and the others. The group looked shocked as it hit Braniac.

Braniac: Gah!

It knocked him down to the ground. Everyone looked shocked, then turned as they saw a familiar clone of Delete's.

Delete: Blackjack!

Grievous: (glares) You again!?

Blackjack: (grins) Hey, Dee Dee. Did I come at a bad time?

The android lifted his head, then struggled to get up and rise to his feet.

Braniac: Blackjack, what are you...

Blackjack: Just stopping you from saying things you shouldn't be...and finishing you off.

Heroes: What!?

He turned, trying to stop the clone.

Braniac: (gets up) No...wait! Without me, you would never have continued your existence!

Blackjack: We just exist. We are Nobodies. But your memories and existence end here. (smirks) Aren't you happy?

He realized what the clone meant as his anger grew to fear.

Braniac: S-Stop! (backing away) I don't want to-

Blackjack: Well, see you.

With a snap of his finger, Blackjack sent flames to Braniac as he screamed in agony.

Bubbles: (gasps) Oh no!

Everyone's eyes widened with fear as Frankie tried reaching for Braniac.

Frankie: No, don't!

But it was too late as Braniac was no more. The droid leader then turned angrily to his clone.

Delete: What...what the hell is with you people?!

Blackjack stood there for a moment, pondering for a second before replying.

Blackjack: Hmm, I guess I'm not sure either.

In an instant, Blackjack vanished from the area. Everyone then looked at one another, with worry on their faces.

Delete: (frowns) Damn...I cannot believe this!

Danny: Calm down.

June: Yeah, we’ll find them.

Delete: (angrily) I am calm! Let’s just get out of here and find that Blackjack, then make him turn my brother back!

Grievous: Uh, listen-

Delete only gave out a huge death glare to him before the others looked worried.

Coco: Co co.

Frankie: We...we were only trying to help.

Delete: Well, don’t! I can do this! I don’t need anyone’s pity! No one’s!

The droid headed off, running to the exit of the world they were in. Bloo only looked shocked about it.

Bloo: Man, I have not been this shocked like the time I discovered Terrence’s secret.

(Flashback)

In the Invisible Hand, Bloo was chatting with his creator as they were heading to Terrence’s room.

Bloo: And I’m telling you that he does wet the bed.

Mac: Everyone already knows about that, thanks to you shouting the other night.

Bloo: Oh, like it was my fault that Terry hit puberty.

Mac: (groans) Bloo...

The blob then opened the door, looking inside.

Bloo: Hey, listen, the guys want you at another-

He then yelped as he saw Terrence wearing what appeared to be stripper clothing while some magazines of what appeared to be males in underwear were shown on the ground.

Bloo: (sweatdrops) Uh, yeah...I think I’ll leave the room and scream right now.

Bloo then closed the door before he ran around the ship, screaming.

Bloo: AHHHHHH!!!

Mac: (groans) Bloo, I don’t even wanna know what you saw in there.

Bloo: (shouts) THE HORROR! THE HORROR!

(End Flashback)

Back with Tomixen, he gasped as he sensed something just as Doomsday appeared from the blackness.

Doomsday: Braniac is no more.

Tomixen: Yes, I just noticed. Braniac's scent disappeared the moment Blackjack appeared. (shakes his head) It's deplorable when we strike down our own comrades...

Doomsday: The bigger problem is Delete. His strength exceeds Braniac's, and yet surely Imax and Schala have subverted him by now.

Tomixen: I suppose we shouldn't destroy him then.

Doomsday: (crosses his arms) Right. It's only a matter of time before our leader secures the Hero of the Light.

He then pondered for a moment in deep thought until he spoke.

Doomsday: If he is to hold the light, then we must use the dark. (making a fist) We will take the darkness with our own hands.

Tomixen looked at his comrade in deep thought.

Tomixen: You mean...Buzz...

He nodded to his leader.

Back in the real Guardia, the three kids along with three Digimon were given the explanation from everyone with Dende.

Takato: So you’re telling us that these guys can actually go from one site to another from the Digital World to destroy it!? That is extremely not good.

Sailor Mercury: Since they used the Digivice to get the gate opened, we figured that if one of you had Digimon, perhaps we could actually get into Cyberspace and stop them.

Jenya: I don’t know...

Ruki: Why should we help you!? We barely know any of you.

Buttercup: ‘Cause we’ll kick your butts until you cooperate!

Blossom: Buttercup!

Takato: Ruki, if what these guys are saying is true, not only is that world in danger, but all worlds as well!

Ruki glanced at most of the heroes before she sighed.

Ruki: Fine, but only if Renamon and I come with you.

Sailor Moon: We know we could count on you guys.

Ruki then looked at the laptop, then used her Digivice. The group noticed a portal opening as they looked.

Renamon: There’s the Digital World. And where’s the Digital World, there’s also Cyberspace. We best hurry then.

Sailor Jupiter: (to Dende) I wish you and your friends could come with us, Dende. Especially since you remind me of my old boyfriend.

Sailor Mars: Jupiter!

Dende Lee: Sorry, but our place is here. Good luck on finding them.

Magus: You will need it.

With that, the newcomers along with Ruki and Renamon all went through the portal. In an instant, they were gone.

Jenya: Hurry back, Ruki!

In Cyberspace, somewhere in the Digital World, the heroes appeared in the area, looking concerned.

Ruki: This is the Digital World?

Renamon: It looks like File Island.

Sailor Venus: Which means...

Voice: Guys!

The group turned and noticed three familiar faces coming to them.

Buttercup: Gatomon! Megaman! Roll! Thank goodness you’re all okay.

Renamon: Hmmm...where are the others?

Roll: They’re patrolling Cyberspace. Is there something wrong?

Just then, Shirly noticed three familiar claws heading to them.

Shirly: Look out!

Quickly, the crystal was brought out with the three finally noticing, just as the barrier came and the claws bounced back.

Sango: No you don’t!

She threw her giant boomerang, destroying the claws.

Miroku: Are you all right?

Megaman: What were those things?

Gatomon: Whatever they were, they look very dangerous.

Grim: We’ll explain on the way. Come on, find us a way to Control Central before something worse happens!

Mandy then heard another scream before noticing a silhouette of Gutsman screaming before falling to the ground.

Mandy: Too late.

Roll: Oh no! Gutsman!

Billy: Demonic Memory Claws did this! It makes peoples forget!

Lazlo: He’s right, and if you would have been hit by that thing, you guys would have lost your memories as well.

The three looked worried while Megaman spoke.

Megaman: Don’t worry, we’ll get to Motherboard. Hopefully, to find the others before it’s too late.

The group headed off as Sailor Moon began to worry.

Sailor Moon: (to herself) Please...don’t let the others get hurt by them, especially Tuxedo Mask.

Buzz’s Voice: Next Castle of Memories: Slider and I make it to Nowhere, Kansas, where I must confront the last villain that tricked me, namely Katz ‘wit ‘de help o’ Courage and Shirly.
